Abstract
Artistic research in partnership with mycelium
In contemporary art, the boundaries between genres have become increasingly blurred and overlapped. Design and art also cannot always be clearly separated. As sustainability challenges have come to the frontline, more and more unconventional materials have come to the forefront of creative or design thinking, resulting completely new ways of thinking and processes in the field. The most significant of these are the growing materials, which have completely rewritten the fine art and design with their living, self-organising way of being. The living organism is an active participant in these processes, which opens up completely new and different perspectives in the field of art and design.
