Abstract
Artistic research has the potential to offer new perspectives on Polish feudal history and its contemporary technofeudal issues, particularly in the context of Polish post-colonial studies. In this presentation, I will explore how artistic research can help us understand and learn from resistance strategies employed in the past, and how these strategies can inform our efforts to resist technofeudal oppression in the present.
I will examine how artistic research can challenge and complicate dominant narratives, allowing for a more nuanced and multifaceted understanding of the past and present. I will also consider how artistic research can facilitate the creation of alternative histories and futures, particularly in regards to technofeudalism and its impact on marginalized communities. To support my arguments, I will draw upon a range of sources including artistic research projects, critical theory, and case studies from Eastern Europe. I will also incorporate my own research and creative practice as an academic scholar and artist.
Through my presentation, I aim to demonstrate the potential of artistic research as a powerful tool for reimagining history and shaping the future in the context of Polish post-colonial studies. By critically engaging with the past and present, and using artistic methods to create and disseminate new knowledge, we can work towards a more equitable and just society.
